Overview
This course is aimed at individuals with risk assessment responsibilities for manual handling activities. Beginning with overviews of poor handling techniques, the course provides solutions for resolving these problems. An ergonomic approach enables handlers to understand the ‘bigger picture’ to make better decisions when handling loads. A risk assessment methodology based on ergonomic factors is introduced. A highly interactive course requiring delegates to participate in discussions and practical sessions
